First Granada episode ever watched ! (Yes, I decided to start by one of my favorite story rather than the diffusion order ;P) And it happened to be a very great & delightful surprise. I felt in love with the whole cast, the setting atmosphere, the acting quality... "The Naval treaty" is one of my favorite SH's stories, so I was very eager to see how they brought it to life: I am not dissapointed. Percy Phelps was just as I imagine him! Very nervous, very sensible, with a dash of queerness... And of course, the famous rose's monologue ! Brett plays it with such sensibilty, deepness and emotion that the very air vibrates around them. We can almost felt all these internalized emotions Sherlock Holmes has... And David Burke is really how I always imagine Watson in the books! He emboided the character so well, with all the love, fun and care we know Watson for, without making him the "funny guy in the background", but a deep, full character, as important in the plot that he's in Holmes's life... Really, great job; a piece of art, indeed !
